How do I book a boat trip?
Bookings can be made directly on our website. A deposit of €25 per person is required at the time of booking. The remaining balance of the ticket price is to be paid on board.
What’s included in the price?
The day includes sailing aboard the JLD'A, lunch, the Captain’s welcome drink, drinks included in your package, as well as access to stand-up paddleboards, masks, snorkels, and water activities.
What is the sailing schedule?
Meeting time is at 10:15 AM, departure at 10:30 AM, and return around 5:30 PM at the Port of Toulon.
Does the boat actually sail under canvas?
Yes! As soon as weather conditions allow, we prioritize traditional sailing, and passengers are welcome to participate in the maneuvers.
Where do we go?
Depending on the weather, we anchor in the most beautiful coves of the Toulon bay and the Var coastline: Anse Méjean, Terre Promise, Les Bonnettes, Les Oursinières, or the Giens Peninsula.
Can we go swimming and use the paddleboards?
Yes. A multi-hour stopover is scheduled so you can enjoy swimming, stand-up paddleboarding, and snorkeling. Water activities remain under the responsibility of the participants (and parents for their children).
What should I bring?
A swimsuit, towel, sunscreen, sunglasses, a light jacket for the return trip, and a camera!
Where is the departure point?
The meeting point is at 45 quai de la Sinse in Toulon, right opposite the port's crêperie (Crêperie du Port). The Mayol, Du Port, and Lafayette parking lots are located nearby.
What happens in case of bad weather?
The Captain is the sole decision-maker regarding maintaining or cancelling the trip. In case of cancellation, you will be notified directly, and the terms set out in our General Terms and Conditions (GTC) will apply.
Can the JLD'A be privately chartered?
Yes. The ship can be chartered for corporate events, seminars, birthdays, weddings, photo shoots, film productions, and private events.
What are the amenities on board?
The boat is equipped with shared restrooms accessible to all passengers.
To ensure your comfort throughout the day, the crew sets up large sun awnings that cover most of the deck.
Fresh water and soft drinks are also available free of charge during the entire trip.
